What are your Ideas?

We are completely excited to be having a family Reunion. David had an awesome idea that we all get together August of 2012. We are working out all of the details. If any family has ideas for activities ..times ..locations..etc. Please feel free to post. This is the first time ever the members will be all together in one area at the same time, missing this for anyone would be a same so mark your calendars. More details to follow as time goes on.

    We are planning on August11-12 weekend prefer Saturday so people can travel home on Sunday.


    It will be held in Lansing MI at Hawk Island Park. Our cuz (Bud Vanvelzor) is helping us to plan this event from across the pond with arrangements, this is open to all Akin family if you are married/born into this family, or adopted or just a wanna be an Akin you are invited. Those who live in WI we are planning a caravan so that transportation will be less of a hassel
